When should I RSVP by?

Although we would love to celebrate with every one of you, we understand that other obligations may come up, and you may not be able to attend. Regardless of if you're able to come or not, we would very much appreciate every one to respond in a timely manner, so that we can appropriately coordinate with our vendors.

Our Nepali ceremony, held on Saturday June 27th, will be an intimate, traditional event with limited capacity, reserved for immediate family, and wedding party members with their families. Because of space, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate all guests for this portion of the celebration. We are so grateful for your understanding. This will be at:

Where can I stay?

With Dallas being a major city, there are endless options for hotels. With our reception venue being in Collinsville, which is about an hour north of main city, we recommend staying in Denton or Frisco/Plano. 
 • The Marriott at Legacy Town Center in Plano as a popular accommodation.
 • Legacy West has much to offer in terms of food and entertainment for guests. Renaissance in Legacy West was recommended by our venue as a hotel in the area.

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

Unless we have personally notified you, there are no additional plus-ones. We adore your kiddos, but for this weekend we’re planning an adults-only celebration. Kids ages 10 and up are welcome — thank you so much for understanding!

Question 6

What do I wear to a South Asian wedding?

Accepted Answer

In no means is it necessary to dress in South Asian clothing for our wedding. We want it to be as inclusive as possible, but also want to support anyone who would like to try something new! Typical South Asian attire includes sarees, kurtas, and lehengas for women, and kurtas for men.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Saturday:
Women and men: Traditional and modest clothing. Please refrain from wearing  shorts, short dresses, excessive cleavage. Wear comfortable shoes that can be slipped on and off as shoes are not to be worn inside the temple.

Sunday:
Women: elegant, knee-length to midi-length dresses, colors and patterns welcome
Men: suit/blazer, dress shirt, trousers, optional tie
